Granite Consulting Starts Working From Home with MS Teams Telephony

With the growing challenges of COVID, Granite needed a cost-effective way to start working from home with simple and secure remote access to their data, systems and applications.
getNEXT suggested a migration to the Cloud for long term savings; MS Teams to enable phone calls on their computers with their existing O365 licenses; and SharePoint to securely share files online.

We entered a 36-month agreement throughout which we created a project plan, agreed to timelines, and conducted discovery of their then-current environment. The solution also involved number porting, creating a file structure for SharePoint and directing call flows into MS Teams.
The staff are now able to comfortably work from home through COVID by:
- making calls to anywhere in the world from their home computers via MS Teams;
- securely gaining access to their accounts with MFA;
- using a streamlined file structure through SharePoint;
- easily sourcing files and sharing information; and
- collaborating on documents with colleagues.
Granite have saved 15% in costs as they no longer require servers or physical phones.
